Detect digitally manipulated or edited regions in images. Bright spots in the ELA output indicate areas that may have been altered.
📖 How ELA Works
Error Level Analysis re-saves a JPEG at a known quality level and compares it to the original. Authentic image regions show uniform compression error levels. Areas that were added, modified or composited after the original save often show higher error levels (appear brighter), because they were saved at a different compression rate than the background.
